My Experience with Himalaya Herbals Lip Care
The lip balm comes in five variants Rich Cocoa Butter, Peach, Litchi, Strawberry and Vanilla. I have been using the Strawberry Shine for last few weeks. It is rich red in color with a very light fruity fragrance which neither stays for long nor irritate the nose. It gives a light tinted color to the lips which fades away after 10-15 minutes. So, if you are looking for some color pigmented lip balm than this product is surely not for you. Moreover, the balm stick is quite hard and difficult to glide on lips. But application becomes little smoother after 6-7 times of usage. It instantly moisturizes the lips making them smooth and soft. Furthermore, this lip balm definitely works in repairing the chapped lips.
Although it hydrates the lips very well, but I feel the staying power is quite less as compared to other lip balms. On my lips it stays for 2-3 hours and reduces on consumption of food and drinks. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips but do feel a little sticky. For me this lip balm has not met my expectations as I was looking for colour tinted along with long staying hydration lip care.
Overall Himalaya Herbals Lip Care Lip Balm is a good product when it comes to hydration and lip treatment but a below average product in terms to staying power. I need to reapply it after every 2 hours. The lip balm is well suited to use at night before going to bed to repair the chapped lips. It will only recommend it to people who need lip balm to treat their chapped lips.
